Returning Burman University Students

If you have been a Burman University student in past and wish to re-apply after having been away for more than 2 semesters, please submit a short re-application form to re-activate your student file.

Details of using ApplyAlberta

  • Clicking "APPLY NOW" will take you to a page outside of Burman's. If it is your first time using APAS, please create an account to continue your application.
  • Be sure to click the green "APPLY NOW" button. From there you will be able to continue your application process.

After You Apply

After you submit your application, you need to submit the following supporting documents:

  • Any relevant secondary and post-secondary transcripts

If you went to high school or university/college in Alberta, your transcripts will automatically be sent through the ApplyAlberta system.  If you did not complete your schooling in Alberta, you may email unofficial transcripts to admissions@burmanu.ca.  Official transcripts must be sent directly to Burman University before classes start.

International Applicants

In addition to transcripts, international applicants must submit:

  • A copy of their proof of citizenship (passport)
  • English proficiency scores (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.)
  • Application fee ($150 CAD payable after the application is submitted)

For Winter intake, international students (except students from the United States) must have all their documents submitted and financial clearance arranged by 27 September 2024; however, we recommend completing this process as soon as possible after receiving an offer of admission as the Study Permit application process with Citizenship and Immigration Canada can often take 12 weeks or longer to complete.
